What are some good honey moon ideas?

I'm getting married in July and live in Michigan. We wanted to go on a cruise but they are like 1300 a person for what we want. So, do you have any other ideas?

I live in Cleveland and we went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We actually flew out of Detroit for only $242.00 round trip each (out of Cleveland the tickets were $600!). Things are a LOT cheaper down there too. They have all-inclusive resorts and villas you can rent. We rented an apartment for 10 days for $400 (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with fridge and small stove) and it was only a 2 minute walk to the beach. If you are interested, go to www.vrbo.com and take a look at what they have there. For our honeymoon, inluding airfare, food, alcohol and any excursion we wanted (we went snorkeling, jet skiing, sailing, ziplining and hiking) and we spent right around $2000. Last time we were there we spent about $1200 but since it was our honeymoon we splurged and stayed longer this time. If you are interested, I have pictures and such if you decide to consider it. Guanacaste is the place to be and there are TONS of beach towns up and down the coast, and sufring and sportfishing if you're interested. Highly reccomend the country and I always felt safe, even when my husband wasn't with me at all times. You can make your trip as costly or as cheap as you want-there are plenty of free or cheap things to do there. We even got to feed wild Capuchin monkeys. Awesome awesome awesome.
