How do you connect a car battery to run the school system and other electronics in your vehicle?

I want to connect another battery in the trunk of my car to go to my sound system, the underglow and so on, and I wondered how I would do that. I know it has to do something with the connection power and the foundations of both batteries and something to that affect, but I'm not 100% sure. If someone could walk me through it or point me in the direction right where I could find that would be great. Thank you. Besides, what kind of battery would be best for this situation. Any help would be very appriciated. Thank you.

the only reason to connect another battery of a car is if you want to often use a lot of energy, while his car does not run. that will not give "more power" that only allow you to use your electronics more when the car is off. if that is the case, would be beneficial to get 2 of those batteries. connect simply run a power cord thickness (at least 4 gauge) from the positive end of the main battery to the positive end of the battery in the trunk and lower the negative end of the battery to the structure of its trunk. if more power you want, then upgrade the alternator.
